Yamanami Books is committed to the principles of Open Science. In principle, all books and journals published by Yamanami Books are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
Under this license:
- Share: Readers are free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt: Readers may remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
- Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and the source, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
Copyright Authors retain the copyright to their work in the case of books. By publishing with Yamanami Books, authors grant the publisher the right of first publication and the right to host and distribute the work under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license. For journals, each journal sets its own policy, but they are published under CC BY 4.0 in principle.
